I just got back from Paris. The most wonderful thing there? It’s this little bookshop. How it stays in business I don’t know.
Every ship has its barnacle
Guess which one got cast in HMS Pinafore because she was a soap opera star.
Poor everyone else in this play.
VPRO Gids cover this week!
A few weeks ago, a horrible mistake was made and I was asked to design the cover for the VPRO Gids. In stores this week.

Marketing
“Spam product manager #1: I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that Spam is hugely popular among the people of the South Pacific. The bad news is that, according to the famous travel writer Paul Theroux, the islanders dig it because they’re ex-cannibals and they think Spam tastes like human flesh.
Spam product manager #2: Hmm. Is this a problem … or an opportunity?”
I’m going to market my telephone incompetence.
I’m pulling a Suzanne Somers. Only $49.99. Not available in stores.

Things I Didn’t Make
Maison de Bonneterie is a place to go in Amsterdam for people who would rather be in Paris, and poor people who would rather be filthy rich. As such, on my 2294th visit there, I noticed they’ve had a bit of a makeover, with a new logo and a new bag design. Well done.

I’ve always wanted to walk through a drive-through restaurant and see if they will still serve you. After all, the actual restaurant closes earlier and surely one cannot discriminate against those who are vehicularly challenged. And what do you know, they will! I recommend this to anyone.
